Hey friends and family,
Just a little blog to let you know what's going on with us. I have just started my last quarter at ITT Tech. I am pulling two classes and will graduate on Sept 12, 2009. Boy it's been a long time coming. With graduation so close I am finding it hard to stay committed to another 2 years of school. But at the same time, I really need the bachelor's degree to get a great position to help secure our future when Tom retires. But at the same time, who will hire a 50-something year old woman over a 20-something year old graduate? So see my problem? lol. Education isn't cheap either.
Tom is planning on retiring in another 7-8 years. We still aren't sure of our destination at this point. Too many variables in play. But I'm sure wherever we end up, it will be great growing old together.
The kids are growing like weeds. Hunter will be starting the second grade, and Wyatt the first. This means ... ALL DAY SCHOOL...yeeeehawww. It will be just me and the princess all day by ourselves.
I am running a June/July special on Remembrances By Roxie When we montage your wedding photographs, you will recieve a library set for the price of the DVD. This gives you the thumbnail CD free.
I also have created a site for my remote assistance computer repair business: Bits and P.Cs We can link up via msn messenger or email invite. Making that degree worth while.
We have a couple of trips coming up if everything works out right. The last weekend in June, we will be going to MIssissippi to visit my mother for a few days and on the way back, we will be stopping in MIssouri to attend the wedding of a good friend of ours from Kansas City they will be getting married at Clearwater lake in southern MIssouri. Then labor day week we are planning on a trip to MIchigan to see Tom's family but we have to be back here by the 12th of Sept for my graduation. Busy Busy Busy.
We will keep you posted on the goings on in our family. Until we meet again, stay happy and be safe.
